Much of our job is actually about context. People or things who appear identical to each other can have vastly different threat levels for a property. There are subtle clues on the individuals, the items, and properties that tell you which they are. So let’s play a little game for fun and see if you can pick the perp.
Having the experience to know the difference, and having the familiarity with the property to know it’s history and vulnerabilities are critical if you want to have a higher level of success in diminishing the risks.
What on Earth?
Three of these are things we see every night. One of them we still can’t explain years later.
Which is a Problem?
Three of these are cars left on property that barely even warrant a second look. One of them is a real problem. Would your Patrol know the difference?
Which is a Thief?
Three of these individuals are drunk. And one of them is pretending to be a drunk, but is actually in the process of trying to steal from a property. Do you want Patrol to know who’s who?
Context Matters
If your patrol company isn’t familiar enough with your property and it’s nuances, experienced enough to have seen it all, or engaged enough to care, then you’re not getting the type of service you deserve. Our job is about context, and while “Let’s Play Pick the Perp” is just for fun, it’s shows you how context matters.
